Natural Horsemanship

Why do I choose Parelli Natural Horsemanship Training for myself.  I have not only tried other methods, witnessed the torment of other methods on horses learning through fear and have always come back to Parelli.

Why have I strayed from Parelli in the past? It wasn't because of the horse the horse already knows this stuff, it's because of me, impatient and blaming.

When I absorb the theory, see it in them when they interact with eachother, there is no other way.  There is no cookie cutter that will work with all horses, they are as individual and complex as humans, yet so simple by the rules they are born to live by to survive.

When I finally got it, I realized I never want to be a part of any fear based, force based training or learning ever again.

That's one guilt trip I don't ever want to be on again.  Clinton Anderson is good, but to me rushes the process and drifts too far from keeping the horses' dignity in tact.  That is strictly my opinion and I truly respect what he does and accomplishes with horses, I just prefer learning from the horses's perspective and the perspective of the personality of the horse I'm working with, not a cookie cutter approach.  If something is wrong in the horses' process to learn there is always a deeper reason, sometimes it is disrespect, but many times it's something else.  Parelli opens the door to those other reasons and offers solutions.
